U.S.A. -- KENTUCKY

Big Day (Bird Race)

18 July 1999

by Brainard Palmer-Ball, Jr.

Big Day Statistics:

Comments:

This represented a fairly well conceived mid-summer Big Day that probably represents a relatively credible baseline for July for Kentucky.  A taped call of Eastern Screech-Owl was used to draw in passerines during the day.  No owls were sought before or after daylight.
